The Summer 2009 Director's Research Life Series presents "Washington DC Agencies and Proposal Writing"

Speakers: G. Michael Purdy; Arnold Gordon; Ajit Subramaniam
Mike Purdy will talk about the Federal Govt structure, how the agencies are structured and the roles of OMB and Congress. Ajit Subramaniam will talk about the Directorate of Geosciences at NSF and will provide some "insider" tips on how it works. Arnold Gordon will talk about NOAA and ONR and discuss how these are different from each other and from NSF, and how to increase one's odds of getting funded by these agencies.
